Free printable blank Union Jack bunting to colour in
This is the perfect Union Jack craft for kids to enjoy. Plus when you’re done you’ve got something personalised to hang up and decorate your home or party venue.
All you need to do is print off the document onto blank white A4 paper and then give your kids some crayons, pencils or pens.

How to make your free Union Jack bunting
Putting together the bunting is simple and can be done in less than an hour – depending on how long your kids spend colouring in their Union Jacks.
You will need:
- String or ribbon
- Glue
- Scissors
- A4 paper (you can use card if you prefer something a little more sturdy)
- Colouring pens/pencils/crayons
You will need access to a printer as this is a downloadable freebie that you need to print off at home.
First of all select what type of bunting you are going to make.
My free printable Union Jack bunting includes a full sheet flag that’s a little larger and another with four flags to a sheet.
You could also choose the full A4 blank Union Jack colour in sheet and use this as bunting if you don’t want the triangular shaped bunting.
Give your kids their art supplies and set them to work colouring in their Union Jack bunting.
To make a decent string of bunting they will need to colour in at least 10 Union Jacks.
If you don’t have time to colour in then I’ve got some colour Union Jack bunting they can print off and attach to the string instead.
Once they are done fold over the tab at the top of the triangular bunting and tuck it over your string, then fix the fold in place with some glue. Repeat until your bunting is complete, spacing out the flags evenly.
Now hang and enjoy!
With the large full A4 Union Jack sheets simply fold over the top 1cm of the short side of the paper and glue to fix to your string.
