All you need to do is:

  • Download the PDF printable frame. There are two different Instagram frames for you to choose from, or you could use them on different days.
  • Print it off at home. I printed mine off onto paper, then stuck it to some thin card before cutting out. You could try printing to glossy or heavier paper. The paper does need to be bit heavier in order to retain its shape when the Elf is holding the frame.
  • Cut out your frame, including the square in the middle.
  • Now place your Elf somewhere around the house.

The beauty with this quick Elf on the Shelf idea is that you can then place the Elf somewhere pretty symbol, as the prop is so fun!

Try popping the Elf on the Christmas tree, or next to a favourite family photo.
