Chocolate cornflake cakes

Is there anything more reminiscent of your primary school years than the classic cornflake cake?

These are so simple to make but they’re absolutely delicious!

What’s brilliant about this recipe is that not only will your child love to make it, but there’s pretty much nothing that can go wrong with it.

This is a great way to introduce your child to baking. You can get them to help you out with measuring, and discuss the numbers on the scales with them as they measure out everything they need.

This recipe features just the cornflake cakes. But, you could add anything you want to the top of the cakes once you have spooned them into the cupcake cases.

Why not add some marshmallows, or small chocolates such as M&Ms? You could also sprinkle on some chocolate chips.

Here’s a very simple recipe that your child will love to help you to make.

In french they are called "rose des sables" whichou would translate to sand rose. Nice recipe, they look fabulous. I never tried with golden syrup. Only melted chocolate and butter on cornflakes. It s so delicious!
