As a fan of the movie myself, I love how many creative opportunities there are from the film to use in your Elf on the Shelf ideas.

Cool Kpop Demon Hunters Elf on the Shelf ideas
Elf is Rumi
The Elf has got Rumi hair and is ready to fight the demons!
You can make your own Rumi wig either using thick wool or purple pipe cleaners. I personally prefer the pipe cleaners, as you can then shape the hair so it looks like it’s blowing in the wind at the end.
I first secured down Elf’s hat using a hair tie. I then got some tin foil, folded into a square, and shaped it onto Elf’s head like a cap.
Next I used a glue gun to stick the purple pipe cleaners to the cap, creating a wig. I made the braid by weaving multiple pipe cleaners together.
I gave my Elf a glow stick as a sword. If you have toy swords then put those in your Elf’s hands.
Another option is to have the Elf preparing to battle with your child’s toy dinosaurs or dragons – they can be the demons!
My Little Soda Pop
Does anyone else get the Saja Boys song My Little Soda Pop stuck in their head on repeat?
This song provides so many opportunities for ideas.
My personal favourite is this one – using empty soda cans to create a choir. Add a piece of paper with “My Little Soda Pop” and my musical notes surrounding the words and you have an awesome set up! I added googly eyes to each can to create my choir.
Elf could either be singing with the choir, or directing them.
Elf’s karaoke session
The Elf has created a Kpop Demon Hunters playlist on your phone or on the TV and they’re singing with a microphone sitting in front of the TV.
Huntrix/Saja Boys fan club
Elf has joined a Huntrix or Saja Boys fan club!
Simply create a little sign from a small piece of paper with the band’s name written on it. Write something like “I Heart Huntrix”. This one is very quick and easy to do.
If you have more time, you could print off a miniature picture of Huntrix and have Elf hold that like the Elf is waiting for an autograph from the band.
You can grab a Derpy plush to make the setup really fun.
Elf’s stage debut
Create a stage using a cardboard box flipped upside down. If you have a toy microphone you can borrow from some of your child’s dolls then give that to the Elf.
To really make this one work, add some sparkly gold thread or yarn and lay it out around the stage like Honmoon – this is the magical barrier in the movie that protects people from the demons.
Elf is Golden
Find some gold material, or a doll’s outfit, and wrap Elf up in it. Or you could recreate the singing scene where Huntrix perform Golden by having Elf dangling from a loop with a sign saying “I’m going up, up, up it’s my moment”.
Derpy knocked over a plant
Tip over one of your plants – if you can cope with the potential mess – and have a note from the Elf saying: “Derpy did this, at least he tried to pick it up again!”
Elf has patterns
Elf has the demon patterns, just like Rumi! You could also add a top hat on his head.
To do this I would use thread, yarn or black card cut into thin strips to make the patterns, rather than draw on the Elf.
Leave a note saying: “Help, my patterns are showing!”
Couch!
Elf is wearing a white bath robe, or PJs, and holding a sign reading “couch, couch, couch”. Add a bowl of snacks too to recreate the scene from the movie where the Huntrix girls are eager to relax.
Elf is at a Huntrix concert
Grab a still from the movie and print it off. Place it somewhere that Elf can sit in front of and give him some popcorn so it looks like he’s enjoying a concert/the movie.
Elf is scoffing Ramen
In the movie, Huntrix are obsessed with instant noodles!
Leave four empty instant noodles containers out with the Elf and a note saying “Huntrix dropped by for a snack”.
