Everyone dreams of becoming a millionaire.
Although money doesn’t buy happiness, it certainly makes life a lot easier in many ways.
For me it’s the knowledge that my children and us will be comfortable for the rest of our lives, I think it’s great peace of mind!
I think it’s this idea that keeps everyone coming back to play again and again, whether it be buying a ticket or playing lotto betting with Lottoland.
We’ve often talked about what we would do if we scooped the jackpot, so I thought I would share what my lottery winnings would go on.
1. Share the win with my family
This is the most important one for me. Success and money don’t mean anything if my wider family isn’t happy, so I would look to help every relative in any way I could.
I think this would mainly involve paying off mortgages and buying new cars, but I’m sure there might be the odd holiday too.
2. Buy a bigger house
I often read interviews with lottery winners where they say they are going to stay in the same tiny house they’ve lived in for the last 30 years.
I just can’t relate to this! If I won, I would be shopping for multi-million pound homes immediately.
They would have to be close to good schools, have lots of bedrooms so that we could have people over to stay and have an amazing kitchen because I love to cook.
3. Pay for private school
It’s not that private school makes your child smarter, I think they are what they are, it’s that there are so many opportunities available when you attend a private school.
It opens doors, at school and beyond.
4. Have lots more holidays
I would want to travel as much as possible. There are still so many places I haven’t been to in America, so a big road trip would be fantastic.
I also fancy exploring places such as Japan and Thailand.
5. Take my mum shopping in London
I’m not talking about a walk down Oxford Street. I mean a proper splurge at stores such as Harrods, Tiffany & Co and other designer brands.
6. Spoil the kids
This would be the one I would enjoy the most I think! Being able to take the kids to Disneyland and other exciting places without having to worry about the cost would be amazing.
I think I would have to rein myself in a bit, as I don’t want them growing up to be bratty!
What would you do if you won the lottery?
