I discovered how comfy the shoes from Strive Footwear are earlier this year when I was sent a pair of gorgeous pink sandals.

Now that winter is here I’ve been trying out a pair of their cosy boots, which I’ve put to the test during trick or treating and Bonfire Night.

The Roxby boots are a slightly taller boot than the others in the Strive boots collection. The others are ankle boots, whereas the Roxby comes a little bit higher up the leg and covers the lower bit of the calf.

Putting these boots on is like stepping onto a cloud, thanks to the cosy faux-fur lining on the inside. I love how the grey furry lining just peeks out of the top of the boot, giving it a splash of colour.

I received the black boots (they also come in grey) and love that I can wear with so much. They go with leggings while I’m dashing about running errands, jeans on a chilly night watching fireworks and dresses for a casual/fun look.

The boots are water-resistant, which is a good thing when you have two kids who are obsessed with jumping in muddy puddles.

But the material is also really lightweight so you don’t feel like they are weighing your feet down at all. The boots are made from soft nylon and unbuckle leather – giving contrasting textures.

They are lace up boots but I’ve found that I can just slip them on and off quite happily. I love how easy they are to get on, particularly as getting out of the house with two kids in tow is normally such a drama!

The best thing about Strive Footwear is that they are designed to support your feet – they may look good but they are ALL about comfort.

The shoes are built around the brand’s Biomechanical Footbed Technology – which fits to the contours of your feet to help improve your posture and reduce harmful stresses placed on your body and feet.

To summarise what this means – they are super comfy, practical and look lovely.

If you think these boots look good, why not check out the rest of the range. I am also a big fan of the Chatsworth boot!

I can report the Roxby boots have coped extremely well with muddy fields and wintry walks over the last couple of weeks and I expect them to keep me warm all winter!

I can’t wait to try out my next pair of Strive shoes!

The Roxby boots are available from Strive Footwear for £109.95.

I was sent a pair of Roxby boots in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
