As a parent of two little sleep thieves I am a big fan of cutting corners.
If I can claw back a few minutes, I will, because I simply don’t have any spare time these days. If there’s an easy way to get things done, I’ll take that option.
Sometimes you just need a quick fix!
Obviously getting the Christmas decorations out every year is a given, I’m not going to stop doing that. But it’s nice to refresh the Christmas cheer, to mix it up a bit every year, without having to faff about with a string of extra lights.
So I was thrilled to be sent a beautiful festive floral bouquet by Prestige Flowers. It has added the perfect touch of Christmas sparkle to my living room, and all I had to do was fill the vase with water and find the right spot to display it.
The bouquet, called the Noel, was delivered to my home in a box, I was so excited to see what the flowers looked like!
The colours popping out from these stunning flowers were some of my absolute favourites. The purple and white teamed with silver were just the right mix to get me in the festive spirit.
The stars of this bouquet are the beautiful white roses, but these are complimented so perfectly by the white chrysanthemums and gorgeous purple sparkly stars dotted among the flowers.
Silver pine cones and frosted purple berries add to the festive theme, along with palm leaves to bring some glorious greenery to the display. A sprig of silver-sprayed leaves finish off the cheerful Christmas bunch. I love the mixture of flowers with non-perishable decorations.
I’m going to be reusing the cones, stars and berries for other festive decorations later this month.
The flowers came with a lovely vase, which was simple but perfect to fit this generous bunch of flowers in. I know this will be brilliant to use in future too.
When you receive this arrangement in the post, you just can’t help but smile. Plus the flowers came with a box of chocolates! These are just delicious for sharing with your other half on a chilly winter’s evening wrapped up warm at home.
Flowers are always my go-to gift of choice for fellow mamas or family who are having a tough time.
I think receiving flowers in the post can be such a boost to your day. At this time of year especially it can make all the difference.
We all get so stressed out in the build-up to Christmas with all the shopping, organisation, commitments etc that we can forget to slow down a bit and just enjoy the beauty of the festive season.
So if you’re looking to cheer up a loved one, add a bit of Christmas colour to your own home or just want to give someone a gift that will make them smile, why not send flowers?
